Boston, Brooklyn, and Victoria will be attending
the 2019 Presbyterian Youth Triennium retreat
on the campus of Purdue University.
They will be joining over 5,000 other Christian youth on July 16 – 20th
with the theme, “Here’s my heart.”
You have probably heard of it, as youth have been attending Triennium,
every three years, from Peoples for 24 years.
The cost of the retreat is $555 per person . . .
so we are having fundraisers this spring to raise $1,665.
Our next fundraiser will be a casserole sale on Sunday, April 14.
If you would like to contribute an unbaked casserole in an aluminum pan, you are more than welcome to do so.
They will be sized for 2-3 servings and come with a recipe and cooking directions.
Start clearing out your freezers now!
The casserole sale will be in the Fellowship Hall right after worship,
and just before Pastor Leia’s adult ed class in the lounge.
But that’s not all!!!
On Sunday, May 5, we will be serving up “Tacos for Triennium” in Fellowship Hall after worship with all kinds of toppings!
On Sunday, May 19, we will be flipping pancakes and cooking sausage for brunch after church, so come hungry!
We hope that Triennium will feed our students’ souls, but before they get there,
the three of them will be feeding us lots of delicious food!
