We are a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), a historically reformed tradition with roots in both Scotland and Geneva, Switzerland. There are a plethora of interesting and quirky traditions and ideas which make us Presbyterian, but at our heart, we are an ecumenical denomination. Like our brothers and sisters in Christian churches around the world, we celebrate Communion in remembrance of the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We baptize infants, children, and adults, welcoming them into the body of faith in the healing waters of the font through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in One God, creator of all that is seen and unseen, who is also three: Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer. Presbyterians believe that Jesus Christ is the child of God, sent to Earth to live a fully human life among us. We believe that Jesus died and rose again from the dead, and in this has reconciled our lives to the heart of God.
