We love to have members of all ages at Peoples Presbyterian Church!
During confirmation or new members classes, students meet regularly with our pastor to explore what it means to be a Christian, a Presbyterian, and specifically a member of Peoples Presbyterian. We spend time reading the Bible, talking about issues which come up in our daily lives, taking field trips to local organizations or churches, and getting to know one another.
Classes are set up every other year or as needed and might be set up for high school upperclassmen and young-ish adults, adults in general, or families.
We are starting a new members’ class in just a couple weeks! Join us after worship in the lounge for about an hour on the last Sundays of the month (except for January, when the last Sunday is the potluck and annual meeting): we will meet on 2/2, 2/23, 3/29, and 4/26 to talk about the Bible, church structures, what we believe, how we worship, and what makes Presbyterians unique. The schedule might be adjusted after the first class to best fit the availability of those who are interested in attending.
If you are interested in joining the church, please contact our church office for more information.
