The book of Jonah was written as a slapstick comedy satire, but Jonah is still SALMON whom we could learn some lessons from. How should we respond when we aren't sure we want to follow the call of the Lord? When the Lord forgives those whom we would consider our ANEMONES, do we accept that divine grace is big enough for the whole world or, COD darn it, do we dig in our heels and demand that the Lord do what we want?
